IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Thirdwayv, a leading provider of end-to-end connectivity and security solutions for IoT applications, today announced formation of its Advisory Board and the appointment of medical device and digital health industry veteran Aiman Abdel-Malek, Ph.D. as its executive chairman. Dr. Abdel-Malek brings more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive leading healthcare business teams to develop breakthrough technology-based business solutions to many healthcare issues globally. He was most recently the executive vice president and chief technology officer at Insulet Corporation. Prior to Insulet, Dr. Abdel-Malek served as vice president, engineering of Qualcomm Life, Inc., and, before that, general manager – Global Services Technology at GE Healthcare. Dr. Abdel-Malek holds a Bachelor of Science in systems and biomedical engineering from Cairo University and a doctorate in biomedical engineering from the University of Southern California. He holds more than 30 patents and is widely published and a frequent keynote speaker in various digital healthcare, secure IoT and mobile healthcare forums.
